​Stowe Resort has announced that “Uphill access is currently CLOSED on all portions of Stowe Mountain Resort until further notice”, leaving a lot of local residents who had hoped to escape their home for some mountain air adjusting their plans.

The U.S. Senate voted 96-0 early Thursday morning to approve the federal disaster relief fund, designed to give federal funding to businesses and hospitals and increase unemployment benefits.
